Liam Fox MP, the leading Conservative politician and former Secretary of State for Defence, along with Simon Nixon, European Editor of the Wall Street Journal's Heard on the Street, sparred in a lively discussion hosted by M:Communications on 16^th April on whether there is a strong business case for Britain to renegotiate its relationship with the EU. Over 40 guests, comprised mainly of senior communications professionals and other company directors, witnessed the spirited debate, putting our speakers to the test with some challenging questions.

Many views were aired and whilst on balance the majority of the room approved of David Cameron's plans to renegotiate Britain's relationship with the EU, several felt that this course of action was not without its obvious dangers.
