Mary-Jane Elliott joins M:Communications to lead International Healthcare Practice

Leading international financial communications company, M:Communications, has appointed Mary-Jane Elliott to head the firm’s growing healthcare practice. Mary-Jane brings more than twelve years of broad healthcare experience across all sub-sectors of healthcare and from both public and private companies.  

Mary-Jane joins M: from WPP-owned Buchanan Communications where she was a Partner and advised healthcare clients for more than six years. Prior to that Mary-Jane spent five years at FTSE 250 company PowderJect Pharmaceuticals (now part of Novartis) which she initially joined as a scientist in pre-clinical development and then worked in the Corporate Communications and Investor Relations team. A healthcare specialist, Mary-Jane has a BSc (Hons) in BioMedical Sciences.

Mary-Jane will be joined by Emma Thompson who recently moved to M: from the healthcare team at FD and brings with her extensive experience in healthcare services, pharmaceuticals, biotech and medical technology.

M:Communications’ healthcare practice will be based in the London office and will also spearhead the global healthcare marketing efforts of M:’s parent company, King Worldwide.
